Ansel Adams famously stated "You don't take a photograph, you make it." I think that this is all the more true in the digital world. Starting with a base exposure, the digital darkroom allows me to create an image that appears exactly as I envisioned it when pressing the shutter. As a scientist by trade, I enjoy the endless experiments that digital photography allows.
My current gear includes a Canon R6 and a Canon 7D Mark II. I've also been shooting more landscapes and travel photos using my iPhone 12 Pro.
